Garagiste Winemaking

The Giant Periwinkle, is a boutique winery just outside of Baardskeerdersbos near Gansbaai. The small and exclusive wine farm forms part of the Agulhas Wine Route and is a sought after destination for lovers of the pressed grape. Red and white wines produced at The Giant Periwinkle have been welcomed by the wine community and recognised by the JohnPlatter Wine Guide that has awarded its wines with 4 and 4.5 stars. Expect wines ranging from eminently quaffable to connoisseur, true to their terroir at the Southern tip of the Overberg’s wine kingdom.

The Giant Periwinkle is also the venue for the Art Route Group Show open both weekends, and by appointment.
