Caroline McDowell

Caroline McDowell studied Fine Art at UCT before moving to the UK in the 1980s. Her journey into metalwork began in Pringle Bay as a response to constant baboon raids. Over time, her work has expanded to include a wide variety of sculptural, decorative, and functional metal artworks. Exhibiting @The Giant

Catriona Towriss

Catriona Towriss creates sculpture, print and site-responsive art from seed pods, tree bark and other foraged-materials. Born in the UK, Towriss lives and works in South Africa. Her work tells stories of the land and its life-forms. Through her attentiveness, care and time-full creative process, she seeks to repair and regenerate reverence for the living world.
